Meagher was inducted into the Santa Clara Hall of Fame in 1997 for his contributions to the Bronco Baseball program. After a successful career for the Broncos during the early 1940s, Meagher signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Meagher unselfishly served his country on the Pacific during World War II.
