Stubler was standout tackle for the Broncos. He was a crucial part of Buck Shaw’s team from 1936-1940. A team that won, not just one, but two Sugar Bowls (1937 & 1938). After his stellar career at Santa Clara, Stubler was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
