What time is check in and check out?

  • Check with your camp or conference. Standard check-in time is no earlier than 3:00PM. Standard checkout time is no later 11:00am. Any non-standard check-in/check-out times mus be prearranged by the conference. 

What should I do if I am locked out?

  • Between the hours of 8:00am-10:00pm, contact the Graham Front Desk at 408.554.4302.
  • After 10:00pm, contact Campus Safety Services at 408.554.4441

Who should I contact in case of emergency? 
In the event of a life threatening emergency, contact 911 immediately or contact Campus Safety at 408.554.4441

Is there Internet access available on campus? 
Wireless internet is available through the “SCUGuest” network.

Is parking available for overnight guests? 
Secure parking with your conference hosts. Parking is the current rate per day, Sunday - Saturday. Parking distributed with your key cards. 

  • Do not park in spaces designated for 2 hours 
  • Do not park in areas not designated on the parking permit. 
  • Hang your parking permit on your rearview mirror with the date facing out
  • Do Not alter dates on your ticket
  • It is your responsibility, if you get ticketed. 

Is there a gym/recreational facility available for use? 
The Malley Fitness Center is available for overnight guests, that are 18+, to use at an additional fee. This facility includes basketball courts, workout equipment and pool.  

What type of public transportation is available? 

Santa Clara University is conveniently located across the street from the Santa Clara Transit Center, home to the CalTrain, Amtrak, ACE and Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority. Santa Clara University is also within miles of the San Jose Mineta Airport and the San Francisco International Airport.

What are the hours of the Marketplace Dining Hall?

  • The Dining Hall is open from 7am to 7pm. 
  • Each group will be designated a meal time. 

Where can participants have mail sent while staying at the University?
Your mail can be picked up at the Conference Services Desk in Graham Hall.

Please keep in mind that the University does not receive mail deliveries on Saturday/Sunday.

Is smoking allowed on campus?
Smoking on campus is prohibited. 

I lost my ACCESS card -- What should I do?   
Please report any lost or damaged key cards to the Graham Service Desk. A $15.00 replacement fee will be charged to your conference for any lost or damaged ACCESS cards. 

What should I do if I have a maintenance concern? 
During the hours of 8:00am-10:00pm, please contact the Graham Front Desk. If after 10:00pm, please contact Campus Safety at 408.554.4441.

I need to check-out -- what do I do?  
Please check with your onsite conference coordinator to confirm check-out times/location.  If a formal check-out has not been arranged, please drop your room key in the box located at the front of your residence hall.  

What do I do if I need extra toilet paper or toiletries for my room?
If you need any additional items for your room, please contact the Conference Services Desk at (408) 554-4302 between the hours of 8:00am – 10:00pm

What if I left something behind? 
Please contact our office at (408) 554-4302 or email us at conferenceservices@scu.com. Leave us your name, the conference you attended, the building and room number in which you stayed, contact number and the item left behind. 

If we are able to retrieve the item that was lost, we will call you back to set up delivery or pick-up.  Please note you will be required to pay shipping fees on any item that must be mailed back.

I will be driving in for there conference, where should I park?

Proceed to the main gate on Palm Drive off of El Camino Real. From there, let the gate attendant know which conference you are attending and they will direct your to the closet parking.

Is there a place to purchase meals if I did not order a meal through the conference? 
The Mission Bakery located in the Markeplace Dining Hall; offers an array of beverages, snacks and to-go meals. In the surrounding area there are restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. 

I ordered a meal through my conference, how do I obtain a meal card?
Proceed to your conference registration and keep this with you at all times. You will need this card to tap for your meals you purchased.
