What should I do if I am locked out?

  • Between the hours of 8:00am-11:00pm, contact the Graham Front Desk at (408) 554-4302.
  • After 11:00pm, contact Campus Safety Services at 408.554.4441

Who should I contact in case of emergency? 
In the event of a life threatening emergency, contact 911 immediately or contact Campus Safety at 408.554.4441

Where is the Conference Services Office located?  
During the academic year, the Conference Services Office is located in Benson Hall Suite 212 within the Housing and Conference Services Office.  

Is there Internet access available on campus? 
Wireless internet is available through the “SCUGuest” network. If you plan on using the internet for something that require more bandwidth or faster speed internet, a customized username and password can be created. Please contact the Conference Services Desk in Graham Hall to obtain that information.

Is there a gym/recreational facility available for use? 
The Malley Fitness Center is available for  guests to use at a fee of $8 per day or $24 per week for all individuals 18 and over.  This facility includes basketball courts, workout equipment and pool.  Conference hosts may choose to purchase memberships for the entire group or allow individuals to purchase their own. The Malley Fitness Center also offers basketball courts and an aquatics pool that can be reserved for an additional fee. Please note that the weight room is not available for guests under the age of 18. 

What type of public transportation is available? 

Santa Clara University is conveniently located across the street from the Santa Clara Transit Center, home to the CalTrain, Amtrak, ACE and Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority. Santa Clara University is also within miles of the San Jose Mineta Airport and the San Francisco International Airport.

What are the hours of the Marketplace Dining Hall?

  • Breakfast: 8:00am – 9:30am
  • Lunch: 12:00pm – 1:30am
  • Dinner: 5:00pm – 6:30pm

Where can participants have mail sent while staying at the University?
Your mail can be picked up at the Conference Services Desk in Graham Hall.

Please keep in mind that the University does not receive mail deliveries on Saturday/Sunday.

I lost my ACCESS card and/or key -- What should I do?   
Please report any lost or damaged key cards to the Conference Services office immediately.  Visit our office to have a new key card issued to you.  A $15.00 replacement fee will be charged to your conference for any lost or damaged ACCESS cards. All replacement keys will be charged at the rate of $50.00 per key.

What should I do if I have a maintenance concern? 
During the hours of 8:00am-11:00pm, please contact the Graham Front Desk. If after 11:00pm, please contact Campus Safety at 408.554.4441

I need to check-out -- what do I do?  
Please check with your onsite conference coordinator to confirm check-out times/location (you may also call our office to find out your scheduled time).  If a formal check-out has not been arranged, please drop your room key in the box located at the front of your residence hall.  

What do I do if I need extra toilet paper or toiletries for my room?

If you need any additional items for your room, please contact the Conference Services Desk at (408) 554-4302 between the hours of 8:00am – 11:00pm

What if I left something behind? 
Please contact our office at (408) 554-4302. Leave us your name, the conference you attended, the building and room number in which you stayed, as well as a contact number where you can be reached.  If we are able to retrieve the item that was lost, we will call you back to set up delivery or pick-up.  Please note you will be required to pay shipping fees on any item that must be mailed back.
