Bethany Mayer is president the Ixia Solutions Group within Keysight.

Ixia is a market leader in network test, visibility and security solutions and under Mayer’s leadership in 2015 launched first to market products and grew revenue 11%, surpassing the $500 million annual revenue milestone.

Prior to joining Ixia, Mayer held a number a of positions at Hewlett Packard (now Hewlett Packard Enterprise), including senior vice president and general manager of  Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) business and senior vice president of HP Networking, a $2.5B business which she led through 12 consecutive quarters of growth.  A veteran of the tech industry with over 25 years of experience, Mayer has also held positions at Blue Coat Systems, Inc., Cisco, and Apple among others.

Mayer is passionate about advancing technology. In 2015, she was named by CRN as a Top 25 Disruptor in the technology industry due to her years of leading breakthrough technology developments including Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization.  She was also honored as the Female Executive of the Year at the 2015 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business.

In 2016, Mayer, was selected by the National Diversity Council as one of the 2016 Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology, a definitive list of female executives, influencers and achievers impacting the technology industry.

Mayer holds a BS from Santa Clara University and an MBA from CSU Monterey Bay.

Mayer also speaks Mandarin, which she spent two years learning during her time at HP to better communicate with her team in China.
