Ron is cofounder of BLDG Five, specializing in software focused on helping groups communicate and work together more effectively. Before launching BLDG Five, Ron spent ten years with Microsoft and held various General Manager positions in the company, including positions in both the consumer and business product groups. He was responsible for Microsoft's first Internet small-business services, as well as Microsoft's first online information service. In addition to his for-profit work, Ron has worked in K-12 education including advocacy, teaching, school administration and school leadership. Ron has his undergraduate business degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Ron is married to Angela Souza and together they have two sons, Eric and Keith. Eric is a Class of 2013 graduate of SCU with a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree. While attending SCU he was a member of the Beta Gama Sigma Honor Society, Leavey Scholars Program, Sigma Chi Fraternity and was Honored on the Universities Deans list from 2009-2013. Currently, Eric is happily employed in a finance position at NetApp.
