Students Services

The Office of Accessible Education (OAE) has been designated by the University to ensure access for all students with disabilities to all academic programs and University resources. Types of disabilities include medical, physical, psychological, attention deficit, and learning disabilities. Reasonable accommodations are provided to minimize the effects of a student’s disability and to maximize the potential for success.

Class adds and drops must be requested in writing via email to

If you withdraw prior to the first day of your first course, you will receive a 100% tuition refund (less $200 non-refundable deposit). If you withdraw after the first class meeting, you will not be eligible for a refund for that class but will be allowed to receive a 100% refund for any course that has not yet begun. There will be no refund provided for any course that has already begun.

Summer CAAP students have the option to purchase a parking permit from Transportation Services. Permits are available for purchase through eCampus. 

A permit is not required on Saturday, Sunday, or University holidays. Santa Clara maintains two large parking structures and dozens of smaller parking lots around campus. To park on University-owned property, every vehicle must have a valid parking permit visibly displayed between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Daily permits are available from the Main Gate kiosk, which is located at the University's main entrance.

Limited On-Campus Housing

Summer housing is available to both SCU and non-SCU students taking classes during the summer. Santa Clara University is able to offer limited housing accommodations to CAAP Program students this summer in the Sobrato Residence Hall. Accommodations for students are available from Monday, June 15, 2020, through Thursday, September 3, 2020. 

Please note the move in and out dates.  The CAAP Program falls outside of the move-out dates meaning September 3-23 you will be responsible for off-campus housing accommodations.

Sobrato Suite Double

$306 per student/per week

Sobrato Suite Single

$390 per student/per week

Sobrato Apartment Single

$418 per student/per week




  • Summer housing residents are billed utilizing a weekly rate. The week begings on Monday and ends on Sunday.
  • CAAP Students will be eligible for singles, unless they have a specific roommate they would like to room with.
  • Students placed in Sobrato (4 bedroom) will have apartment-mates. 
  • The University does not provide bed linens, towels, or telephone service. Residence hall cable TV service is provided by the University.
