Undergraduate Internships

The CIE offers those enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program the opportunity to apply new entrepreneurial skills in emerging Silicon Valley startups.  A variety of paid and unpaid internships are available throughout the year.

In addition, undergraduate students enrolled in the BUSN 145 Entrepreneurship Practicum course have the opportunity to intern for a quarter at both emerging and established startups.  This 2-unit course is available in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters.  Undergraduate students pursuing a Minor in Entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity for a startup internship through MGMT 198E  Internship in Entrepreneurship.  For more information, please contact ljenkins@scu.edu.

Hubcase Seeks Intern to help investigate and frmulate marketing and business development strategy


Hubcase is an exciting startup in the enterprise SaaS market. Actively working with large
prospects, Hubcase automates collaboration of customer support departments of two different
companies. Recently, Hubcase signed an agreement with TSANet (www.tsanet.org) so that the
500+ TSANet member companies can leverage Hubcase solution to improve customer
satisfaction and operational efficiency. We are hoping to get funded in the next few months.

We are looking for an exceptional, versatile talent to help the top management on a mission to
secure early large clients, hopefully somebody with a marketing and business development
focus. Some of the desired skills:

  • Self starter and quick learner
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Native English speaker.
  • Could start and lead our social media presence and create a following
  • Could host our trade show booth
  • Comfortable making phone calls to customers and inbound leads. No cold calls required
  • Might teach us about marketing and sales, particularly with enterprise target market
  • Nice to have: customer support and services, SaaS, CRM, enterprise software

This person’s deliverable can be "help investigate and formulate marketing and business
development strategy."

Don’t want to over promise, but we would pay nominal amount for the intern if we are funded
even if the CEO is not paid. Also, this person could be a prime candidate for our future openings
as we grow.
