Undergraduate Internships

The CIE offers those enrolled in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program the opportunity to apply new entrepreneurial skills in emerging Silicon Valley startups.  A variety of paid and unpaid internships are available throughout the year.

In addition, undergraduate students enrolled in the BUSN 145 Entrepreneurship Practicum course have the opportunity to intern for a quarter at both emerging and established startups.  This 2-unit course is available in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters.  Undergraduate students pursuing a Minor in Entrepreneurship will also have an opportunity for a startup internship through MGMT 198E  Internship in Entrepreneurship.  For more information, please contact ljenkins@scu.edu.

Paid Internship Opportunity:  Zepp Labs Seeks Customer Service & Operations Intern
Zepp Labs recently raised $15million in new venture funding.
 

 

About the Position:

Reporting to the Director of Customer Service, the Customer Service & Operations intern is responsible for delivering world-class service to our customers, testing software, and managing day-to-day operational tasks.  The Customer Service & Operations intern will work in conjunction with customer service and operations leadership to execute the Zepp?s growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

- Answer customer inquiries via email, phone, or live chat.
- Manage product returns & replacements.
- Perform QA testing for new app releases.
- Ability to investigate customer issues and escalate appropriately.
- Take full ownership of customer issues and show a strong commitment going above and beyond.
- Demonstrate timely, accurate and professional customer service.
- Perform in depth technical investigations related to our hardware and software.
- File bug reports and report to development teams as necessary.
- Order management and fulfillment processing.

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

- Current or recently graduated undergraduate student with a strong academic background, preferably in business, operations, or communications.
- 1-2 years experience in customer facing roles, preferably in a technical environment.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of customer service and operations.
- Ability to meticulously follow and improve upon internal processes.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and capable of learning in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Basic understanding of iOS and Android operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).
- Strong understanding and ability to learn eCommerce operations
- Flexibility in work schedule.  Willingness to work weekends when necessary.
- Passion for sports and technology a major plus.

This is an open-ended paid, part-time internship working approximately 20-40 hours per week
