MBA/EMBA Scholarship Awards

All scholarships are merit based and awarded at the time of admission, except the Eleazar Bradley, the Inclusive Excellence and the Women in Business Scholarships, which are awarded after the June 1 fall deadline. These awards are for on-campus MBA & EMBA students beginning in Fall 2023.

Merit based scholarships are awarded at the time of admission. The largest scholarships are awarded to applicants with GMAT or GRE scores at or above the average (630 GMAT, 308 GRE). Scholarship range: $3000 - $18,000. Students without scores (who have been granted a test waiver) may also be considered for the following scholarships.

The Dean’s Merit Scholarships are awarded to students that demonstrate exceptional academic and/or professional achievements. The Admissions Committee bases scholarship award decisions on a range of criteria, including scholastic merit, leadership, work experience and other characteristics that add value to the academic and social atmosphere of SCU. Award range: $1,000 - $6,000.

The Eleazar Bradley Memorial Scholarship is awarded to Evening MBA applicants who have demonstrated outstanding personal achievement, overcome obstacles, exhibited resilience and optimism, and shown dedication to supporting the advancement of underrepresented populations.  Award range: $5,000-$10,000.

Eleazar filled every room he entered with warmth and his infectious laugh. His magnetic personality and strength in building relationships and community drew friends from around the world, though no place mattered more to him than his hometown of Compton, California. With his family at the center of his heart and their constant support, he upheld his value of education and moved to Santa Cruz to complete his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz. With these qualities and principles, he shaped a successful 12-year career in healthcare management and most recently transitioned into finance. He fulfilled lifelong goals earning his MBA from Santa Clara University in 2020, and pursued countless adventures traveling the world. Eleazar lived a life full of joy and celebration. Eleazar passed away in the fall of 2021.
