Career Coach Spotlight

Here's a Career Tip from our Career Coach, Sam Phadke:
Getting an opportunity, and delivering an effective interview performance is the most important step in your job search process. How to master it?  Well, you can do it by following a couple of things:
1) Have examples ready for your core skills based on your resume. For those of you who have not worked before, you can select examples from your academic projects.
2) Practice storytelling for your examples, so you can make the interviewer visualize what you've been describing.

Student Spotlight

Srivats Raghvan, an MSIS student shares his thoughts on summer interships

"Internships are really important in terms of getting industrial exposure and it also gives a better chance of getting a co-op/full-time job. I would advise students that if they do not get the internship opportunity they wanted, then use this as an opportunity for networking and one way to do is by enrolling in courses where networking opportunities are high."
