Montréal Observation Wheel (La Grande Roue)

Enjoy a spectacular view of Montreal and its surroundings. La Grande Roue (aka Ferris wheel) is among the highest in North America and will enchant you. Located in stunning Old Montréal, it offers 60-meter-high (approx. 196 feet) breathtaking views over the city and the St. Lawrence River. This impressive height offers visitors a spectacular view of up to 28 km in every direction. It’s the fourth largest observation Ferris wheel of its kind in the world. It operates in both summer and winter. Because the Quebec winters are often harsh, La Grande Roue had to be built to withstand the elements. The capsules are also temperature controlled. So while you’re inside, you’ll never have to worry about the weather outside.
