    Even though job search networking is one of the most successful ways to find a new job, it can be intimidating. Attend this workshop and networking will become less scary and more manageable. To navigate today’s job market, you need to be able to accurately identify the people who can help you. They may be different than you think. Come learn the art and skill of being an intelligent networker.

    Effective communication skills are the foundation for business success. To have impact, your communication messages must resonate with the needs of diverse audiences. In this seminar, you will learn practical skills to help you tailor your message to specific audiences, communicate your message clearly, and deliver with more confidence. Facilitated by Karen Williams, a dynamic communications expert. Karen is a faculty member in the Communication Studies Department at San Jose State University teaching organizational communication courses. She is also a proud Bronco; she has a Bachelor of Science in Business – Marketing from Santa Clara University!

    In this session, you will learn the absolute fundamentals of being a strong and sought after leader, including what you can do now, regardless of your title or role, to develop these in-demand skills. Through a short self-assessment, you will determine your current Leadership Intelligence strengths, as well as areas for opportunity to develop and build on in the future.
    Instructor, Kim Zilliox, MBA, MA, CPCC is a tenured speaker on Leadership Development, Kim earned her MA from SCU in 2006. She has lectured, facilitated programs, and coached on the topic of Leadership Development for over 20 years, interviewing and coaching over 1000 leaders. She understands what it takes to be a great leader in today’s economic climate!
