Resume Optimization

VMock Resume Review: There is a wealth of detailed resume guidance based upon the SCU-required resume template within the VMock platform. We encourage you to read through the feedback thoroughly and make all recommended changes before resubmitting your resumé for rescoring. Students are allotted up to 10 resume uploads.

*GBP students must set up to access VMock via this link AND use their SCU email address in order to access the GBP-specific landing page.

SCU Resume Templates: Only SCU templated resumes should be uploaded into the VMock platform. You can find the SCU template for the MS and MBA programs in the CAREER+ Resources folder.

JobScan: Customize your resume to best match an employer's job description. Jobscan's standard resume tools are free to the public, with paid options for premium access.

One-on-One Career Coaching Appointments: Career Coach appointments are made within CAREER+.

CareerLeader Assessments: CareerLeader is the premier business self-assessment tool used in graduate business programs around the world. This integrated tool provides robust report that clarifies your skills, interests, and motivators. Contact gbpcareers@scu.edu to get access to CareerLeader.

Break Into Tech Linkedin Masterclass: Taught by former Linkedin employees, the "Land Your Perfect Job With LinkedIn" masterclass provides students with step-by-step instructions on how to maximize the reach of their LinkedIn profile and excel at using LinkedIn during the job search process. Free for GBP students.
