Graduate Business Career Management's Mission:
To provide high touch career development resources, experiences and personalized coaching for current graduate business students and alumni focused on launching, pivoting, or accelerating their careers in a variety of industries predominantly in Silicon Valley.
Sunaina leads a dynamic team who she empowers to experiment with new ideas that provide comprehensive career development workshops, programs, and employer engagement opportunities to our MBA, Online MBA, MS and EMBA students. Sunaina enjoys welcoming Silicon Valley executives and Santa Clara University Alumni to campus for career development events. She has worked in Sales and Marketing roles at Citibank, Intuit, and as an Executive Coach at Lee Hecht Harrison. She earned a BA from Skidmore College and a MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in career from Santa Clara University in 2013.
Kate is a master of logistics and focuses her energy on developing career-related events and programming for our graduate business students. She graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in Biology and has enjoyed a career in biotech and education.
Colleen leverages her background and network in recruiting and human resources to expand employer engagement at Santa Clara University. She strives to guide students through their career journey with 1:1 coaching sessions focused on job search strategies, career pivot approaches, mock interviews, resume reviews, LinkedIn updates, salary negotiations and much more. Colleen received her BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
Shauna supports the GBCM team and the MS Business Analytics, MS Finance and Analytics and MS Information Systems students in their career development. Through one on one meetings and workshops Shauna assists students by developing a job search strategy from day one of their program. Shauna received a BA in Psychology and Art History from St. Mary's College of Maryland and a MBA from Hofstra University.

Cheryl earned a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She is certified in the Career Leader assessment, MBTI Step 1 and Step 11 and the Strong Interest Inventory. Cheryl offers in-person, one-on-one and virtual coaching appointments to MBA and MS graduate students utilizing targeted, realistic, and proven job search tools and techniques including the entire portfolio of career management strategies: career assessment/planning, job search techniques, resume preparation, networking and interviewing skills, and salary negotiation. Cheryl has extensive experience in coaching international students on mastering the U.S. job search model.
Sam Phadke, Career Coach

Sam has been a Career Coach and Mentor in the high tech industry for several years. Sam started his coaching and mentoring many years ago while working at Hewlett Packard. Subsequently, he worked at Agilent Technologies and Seagate Technology, and continued mentoring his colleagues in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, and many other corporate functions. Sam holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance, and a "Information Governance Practitioner' certification.

Geri has worked with graduate students since 2007 and has developed many leaders, managers, and individual contributors in the Bay Area across various industries. She has worked at start-ups at all stages, with 13 out of 17 of them being successful, and has worked in 6 public companies. She held roles in leadership and as a consultant and her background is in SaaS, eCommerce, CRM, marketing technology, cybersecurity, e.g., mobile and web, networking security, retail, finance/banking, autonomous vehicles, healthcare insurance, NVM/NVMe, storage, and education.
Virginia Lucas, Resume Review Coach
Virginia has specialized in reviewing resumes for business school students and private clients for the past 14 years. She studied counseling at Cal State Fullerton and leveraged that expertise in communication skills to build a successful career in corporate HR management and consulting for over 15 years. Managing the recruiting process from the employer's side of the desk, she developed insights about ensuring a successful hiring experience. She transitioned her business to develop effective resumes and recruiting plans for individuals, primarily MBA and other graduate-level business students, at top-tier universities in California. She has been working with graduate students at the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business since 2014.
