Habitat for Humanity and MGMT 8

Students in Professor Richard Trevisan's MGMT 8 class helped reunite a family that had been separated for six years.

Habitat for Humanity

Every fall and spring, Professor Richard Trevisan and Habitat for Humanity provide the students of MGMT 8 – Business Ethics in Practice: Constructing a Nonprofit Organization – a unique opportunity to apply SCU’s 3 C’s - competence, conscience, and compassion.  This fall 14 students worked with Habitat for Humanity to build a 1130 sq. ft home for a family of five that recently reunited in the U.S. after the father moved here from Eritrea six years ago.
