Pricing and Product Strategy Consultant
Rohit is currently an internal pricing consultant at an S&P 500 technology company.
Previously, Rohit spent several years in Strategy and Product Management roles at Tintri, FireEye and Cisco. At Tintri, Rohit worked with the senior executive team on pricing and profitability improvement initiatives. At FireEye, Rohit’s contributions included setting pricing strategy and developing a plan to transition the product portfolio from a basket of point products to a platform. At Cisco, Rohit was responsible for software product management of the firewall product portfolio - a $1B/year business. He also led the turnaround of Cisco’s $250M/year Intrusion Prevention product line and the go-to-market for Cisco’s $300M/year Data Center security business.
In an earlier life, Rohit was a Strategy Consultant at Bain & Co. where his projects included IT Strategy for a Fortune-500 firm, private equity due-diligence on a publicly held service provider and business case development for a technology product company entering the managed services space.
Rohit holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated at the top of his class. He also has a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
