Where I live
Where I call home
I have worked at Nike for 10 years, and have held roles in product, allocation, merchandising, and now as a GM. I have worked in the Young Athletes, Women’s Training, Sportswear, and Running global categories. Prior to Nike I spent 10 years at the Gap. I also worked at Mervyns and Wal-Mart. I graduated in 1993 from Santa Clara University.
What’s on my mind
Working together across functions and categories to drive the Nike Women’s offense. Doing everything we can to focus on the consumer and keep her in the center of everything we do. Building and developing the team for the future.
My favorite things to do when not working
Spending time with my husband and our three boys - 5 year old triplets! I love taking spin classes at BurnCycle as often as I can. I also get away to weekends at the Oregon Coast to relax with my family.
The best advice somebody has ever given me
My dad has always told me that you have to know failure to truly know success. He has always told me to take risks and try new things. If you fail, get back up and try a new way or new idea.
My #1 priority at work is to
Listen to the consumer and to employees. Spending time listening helps me better understand the needs of the company going forward.
