RMI Summer Internships are a paid, full-time opportunity for the students of the Retail Studies Program to experience first hand the culture and business of recognized, industry leading companies and Silicon Valley innovators.

Internship Faire

Taking place annually in February, RMI brings together an exclusive group of retailers to provide Juniors an opportunity to engage and learn and potentially interview for summer internship positions.  Leading up to the Faire, students build their resumes and attend an interviewing skills workshop to prepare them for this important retailer engagement.

Types of Internships

Internships provide experience and exposure to roles in ecommerce, finance, sales, marketing, merchandising, in-store operations, buying, inventory management, supply chain, human resources and product development.

"I learned so much from my RMI internship at Amazon working along side the AmazonFresh team. I was able to participate in creating go-to-market strategies and it really enhanced my knowledge of the retail industry particularly in the e-commerce space. It was a great opportunity."

Natalie Law, Retail Studies Minor

"I personally credit my internship experience with helping me to decide to pursue a career in this industry. I remain committed to the purpose of the RMI because I see the value this experience has had both for me personally as well as many other students I have observed benefit from this experience
