Service, Academics, and Leadership
Every year, the Global Fellows Program selects approximately 30 engaged students who exemplify extraordinary leadership values and a desire to further their personal growth and understanding of global citizenship. Fellows are sent to a variety of values-based organizations in developing countries across several continents for 6 to 8 weeks. These organizations, although pursuing various missions, expose students to global citizenship and leadership through an enhanced understanding of cultural, economic, social, political, and technological factors that underlie social injustice, marginalization, and privilege.
The Global Fellows Program is open to students of all majors and disciplines, and welcomes diverse students of all backgrounds and experiences. This program offers students an unparalleled opportunity consisting of: an internship, travel opportunities and an in depth culturally immersive experience. The Global Fellows Program, hosted by the Leavey School of Business, continues to distinguish itself as the only academic fellowship.
