Areas of Interest at SCU and LSB:  I am interested in philosophy, accounting, sustainability, and political science.

What are your SCU and LSB activities/general hobbies: I am part of Delta Sigma Pi which is a co-ed professional fraternity on campus and Intandesh which is a South Asian cultural club on campus. I enjoy painting, hula-hooping, dance, baking, and a good movie night in every once in a while.

What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at LSB?  I have taken advantage of Handshake as a resource to apply for internships, I attend the frequent coffee chats LSB holds with certain firms in the corporate world, and the accounting leadership series events in which we can hear from experts in their field and learn about their professional growth as well as how we can apply that to our own lives.

Favorite LSB Class and Why?  My favorite LSB class would be Phil 26, Business Ethics. This course has allowed me to think critically about business topics and the ethicality of making one business choice over another. It forced me to dive deeper into the history of corporate decisions made over time, gave me the opportunity to dissect these individual situations, and understand why the outcome was what it was.

What made you choose to attend LSB? I chose to attend LSB because of the opportunities and support it has to offer from Handshake, to meet-and-greets, to advancing student startups. It gives students the opportunity to network, foster meaningful connections, and allows them to utilize these opportunities to further develop professionally and grow personally.

What advice you wish you had while applying to college?  When applying to college, I wish I was given the advice that if I make the most of my time and take advantage of the opportunities that I have when I get there, it does not matter what college I get in or choose to go to.
