What appealed to you about the ACE program and why did you apply?
The emphasis on networking with SCU alumni, fellow ACE students, and industry professionals encouraged me to initially apply to the program. I knew that the program experiences like these would transform my business education into tangible opportunities.
How is ACE supporting you professionally?
Brenda Versteeg and the ACE community have been instrumental to my professional, personal, and leadership growth. It is inspiring to be in a program with many driven individuals who all come from different backgrounds.
The experiences that ACE offers directly compliments my future career path in business and the type of person that I would like to be in the future. I have made it a point to absorb and learn as much as I can during my time in ACE, and at SCU, so I can carry it with me to become a knowledgeable and principled leader in positive global social change.
Biggest takeaway from the ACE Program?
ACE has given me the toolkit to succeed in my professional career. For example, we had a Networking Seminar with Prof. Dee Kane, in which we learnt the fundamentals of networking and how to develop an elevator pitch. Opportunities like these have sharpened my skills to be more self-confident in spearheading my career.
