Santa Clara Investment Fund (SCIF) gives students the opportunity to gain financial literacy and have exposure to running an investment portfolio, while working with a diverse set of minds on campus. We also work to supply members with a lifelong alumni network and professional pipeline to aid in their careers.
I joined the Santa Clara Investment Fund because I wanted to expose myself to different careers within finance while learning financial skills at the same time. The organization has taught me a variety of analytical skills that has helped me in my professional journey thus far. SCIF has a network with many alumni and students working on Wall Street, in Consulting, FinTech, and more- which has aided our members in learning more about their professional passions.
I enjoy helping build the professional pipeline for students interested in the financial realm while also promoting the importance of financial literacy. It is great to see the potential our students have to create change and be more financially aware in this evolving world. Being in SCIF exposes you to multiple perspectives in finance, as we accept all majors within the SCU community.
