As we settle into this new academic year, we hope the quarter is providing new academic challenges and you are ready to tackle midterms. ACE Seniors Complete Summer Internships

Every summer, rising seniors are required to complete an internship as part of the ACE curriculum. This year, the ACE 2018 cohort worked in many different companies, industries, and locations around the US. Two students had unique experiences. Isobel Tolles, a Marketing and Art History double major, interned at Marsh’s San Francisco office. Dillon Foehr, a Finance major, worked as a Treasury Intern on Charles Schwab’s Securities Lending team in San Francisco this past summer. Athletes and ACErs: The Best of Both Worlds

Although ACE members can be found all over campus, two students play particularly interesting roles as student-athletes.  Kat Uhl, a senior Marketing major, from Hillsborough, California, is an outside defender for the SCU Women’s Soccer Team and Matt Sipowicz, a junior Accounting major, from Portland, Oregon, is a midfielder for the SCU Men’s Soccer Team. Impress Your Interviewer from Home

It’s the job search season, and for those who are abroad or want to work in another city, physically showing up to an interview may not be possible. In these situations, companies may ask you to participate in a Skype or other virtual interview. However, these are daunting for many people because they are less-often practiced.
