Congratulations and welcome to each and every one of our new ACE 2020 members! We are very excited to have you join us and look forward to introducing you to all aspects of the ACE program. There are 27 new members, and in this edition of the newsletter, we profile two of the newest members.

Caitlin Colbert is an undeclared business major from Belmont, California. On campus, she works in Media Relations for Santa Clara Athletics. Caitlin joined ACE because she wanted to be part of a community where people are just as determined as she is to develop and succeed professionally. With the support of her fellow cohort members, she will hopefully transition smoothly into the business world.

Andrew Elliott is also an undeclared business and joins us from Guangzhou, China. On campus, he works  in the ACCESS Card Office and the University Library. Andrew is most excited to get to know people in all of the cohorts and hopes that he will get a better sense of what he wants to do in the future with ACE’s workshops. Andrew says that he enjoyed living in China and got a chance to immerse himself in a culture that was very different from his experiences in the US.

Thanks to Caitlin and Andrew for sharing their experiences with us. We are excited to see how our ACE 2020 students develop over the next three years as they begin their ACE journey.
