BUSN188 Field Studies Course
BUSN 188: (Field Studies: LSB Neighborhood Prosperity Initiative) is a 4 unit course offered over two quarters (winter and spring -- 2 units per quarter) each year to introduce students to local low-income neighborhoods and their businesses.The course satisfies the core requirement for Experiential Learning for Social Justice (ELSJ). Students complete 16 hours of direct service in the community during the quarter through participation in class projects designed to apply classroom learnings to organizations and businesses in the local community.
BUSN 188: NPI 7.0 will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:10 pm during both Winter and Spring Quarters 2018. To enroll in the course email Professor Drew Starbird, firstname.lastname@example.org.

In 2017 BUSN188 students worked in the Alum Rock Neighborhood with five local businesses: Floreria Juanita, Sweet Passions, Green Bay Hauling, Lucia's Imports and Immaculate Cleaning.
