our 2021 LSB Orientation Team
On behalf of the Leavey School of Business Undergraduate Business Programs Office (UGBP), I would like to welcome you to Santa Clara University! All new students (first year students and transfer students) are required -- unless noted otherwise -- to participate in all parts of the SCU orientation.
The first part of orientation is academic advising and course registration which happens in July. Students will learn about the core curriculum, academic advising resources, and registering for courses. Our office coordinates the academic advising component to prepare you for class registration.
After registering for courses, you will begin to engage with fellow students, learn about our academic and co-curricular programs, and obtain information about how you can get involved with the Santa Clara community. The Bronco Prep Guide is an online newsletter sent via email to all new students containing information, upcoming deadlines, and online resources to help prepare you for Orientation, Welcome Weekend, and the transition to college. You can find additional information on SCU's orientation website here.
Throughout the summer UGBP will be connecting with you to keep you informed, and also share with you information on the Leavey School of Business (LSB) such as professional development opportunities, programs, and LSB student organizations.
