What are you doing this summer? During the summer, I had the opportunity to be an audit intern at Accuity LLP through a virtual setting. As an audit intern, I was able to experience how working remotely affects certain accounting processes and caught a glimpse of how a career in public accounting would be like. Additionally, I was able interact with people in varying positions from an associate to a partner and gained a better understanding of the firm.

 

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The most memorable part of my virtual internship was working with other interns on a project that analyzes a new accounting guideline and its impact on a company. Despite not being able to work as a group in-person, I still enjoyed our virtual meetings and how we were still able to get to know one another remotely. As an intern, I was also able to be a part of the firm's rebranding reveal which was another memorable experience.
