What are you doing this summer? I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in the Cisco STARS program this summer. This program focused on finance with an emphasis on technology, and participants had the opportunity to attend a variety of training with Cisco employees/mentors as well as complete skill-based challenges.

 

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The most memorable part of the STARS program was competing in the final case study challenge. We were paired up in teams of five or six and were given an acquisition and valuation case to analyze. While our team did not win the challenge, it was an incredible experience to work with other students from such diverse backgrounds on an in-depth case study. I am very thankful for my time with the program.
