What was one of your favorite classes? Operations management has been awesome solely because of the professor, he’s extremely knowledgeable and has a lot of experience internationally as he’s worked in the UK, USA, Greece, and has completed projects for the United Nations. Learning from him is fun and exciting.
What did you like about your program/university? The people and campus placement. The people have been awesome, friendly, and welcoming. The campus is close to a lot of cool London spots, and close to the public transportation of to get to other areas of the city.
What was your favorite place that you visited or favorite part about your city? My favorite place has been Dubrovnik, Croatia. A couple other SCU students and I took a weekend trip there and it was honestly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. My favorite part of London has definitely been the night life. This city certainly never sleeps and there’s always something to do, and people that are willing to go as well.
What advice would you give to the 2022 abroad students? Be prepared for the financial commitment and for the distance from home.
