One of the many great things about living and going to school in Northern California—and at Santa Clara in particular—is our access to fresh, sustainable, locally grown food.
Our dining hall is epic, with pretty much every type of cuisine you could ask for, and there’s great food to be found all over campus.

Our main dining facility is like the food court of your dreams, with numerous stations like The Bistro, California Deli, Sauté, and La Parrilla (as good a taquería as you’ll find in the city of Santa Clara). It’s located in Benson Center and is open all day.
Mission Bakery and Café
Also in Benson, the Café serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner options made from the freshest ingredients available every day.
The University’s late-night venue offers brick oven pizzas, burgers, and other pub-style food. It’s a great place to take a study break or catch an occasional rock show.
The Cellar Market is a gourmet supermarket in the heart of campus, with locally grown products, fresh produce, ready-to-eat meals and snacks, and a “farm to fork” commitment.
The Pony Express
The Pony is SCU’s newest mobile hotspot: a gourmet food truck, with meals made from scratch every day, that travels around campus bringing great food to the people.
Right at the entrance to the Learning Commons, Sunstream Café features snacks, light meals, house-made pastries, blended tea drinks, and sustainable coffee (locally roasted by Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting).
Cadence Cyber Café
Conveniently located on the north end of campus, Cadence features coffee, lunch and dinner specials, and a gourmet hot chocolate bar.
SCU's newest cafe housed in Guadalupe Hall on 455 El Camino Real.
