Student Exhibitions
Santa Clara students participate in several exhibitions throughout the year, the Studio Art Senior Exhibition and the Student Juried Art Exhibition. In addition, the members of the Santa Clara Student Art League participate in a SCUSAL Exhibition in the Fall quarter.
In the spring, we show the work of students, most of whom are finishing B.A. degrees in Studio Art. Graduating seniors in the studio art program participate in a senior show where they learn the process of installation and presentation of their senior exhibit. Students work directly with an exhibition advisor to design and edit their exhibit, write up an artist statement, and host an opening reception in a professional manner.
In addition, all students of all levels participate in the Annual Student Art Juried Exhibition. Even non-majors are encouraged to submit their art work and have it judged by a professional jury for awards given out at the end of the year.
