Red Nose Day

Students get silly to spread awareness of children living in poverty.

Professor SunWolf's Science of Happiness class celebrated prosocial giving on May 26, Red Nose Day. The students were then challenged to go around campus and spread smiles and silliness in support of awareness of children living in poverty. Some students stopped by to wish the Dean of Arts & Sciences, Debbie Tahassebi, a happy Red Nose Day. This is an annual fundraiser that helps raise money. The Red Nose program is famous for using a signature red clown nose to help spread awareness, gaining publicity through the use of celebrities on TV and social media.
