Zhijie Wang is a visiting scholar and associate professor from China Agricultural University. He received his B.A. in economics at the Northeast University of Finance and Economics and M.A. in English at the University of International Business and Economics. He pursued a doctoral program in Rural Development and Management at China Agricultural University and received his Ph.D. in 2011.
Throughout his career, Wang has taught and researched how students learn English as a foreign language; he is particularly interested in the teaching of argument. Wang has taught English courses such as Academic Writing, Critical Reading, and College English; tutored candidates for national-level English writing contests; and supervised M.A. candidates in English. His publications in recent years are in the field of second-language acquisition as well as computer-assisted language learning.
