I am a USDA NIFA postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences at Santa Clara University. My research addresses the ways in which food systems promote cultural diversity, social equity, and human wellbeing. In past projects, I have investigated the social and ecological implications of natural resource management. I value collaborative research that brings together multiple perspectives and approaches to work toward practical applications. I received my PhD in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from UC Berkeley, where my dissertation focused on ecocultural restoration in Humboldt County, CA. I earned an MS in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia and a BA in History from Brown University.
