Donald St. Louis, D.Min., has a particular interest in the integration of psychology and spirituality, and has been active in counselor education in a variety of settings. He earned his MDiv from Loyola University of Chicago, his MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, and completed his D.Min. from the Catholic University of America in 1986. Founder and Director of The California Institute for Sexual Recovery in San Francisco, he is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and maintains a private practice in psychotherapy in San Francisco and Santa Clara. A full-time lecturer in Counseling Psychology, his teaching areas include Law and Ethics, Developmental Psychology, and LGBT Psychology. Dr. St. Louis is the architect and coordinator of the LGBT Counseling Emphasis. He also teaches part-time in SCU’s Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries, where his courses focus on psychological issues in spirituality.
