Mission

The Markey Center for Leadership and Ministry supports the continuing education, collaboration, and outreach of the Graduate Programs in Pastoral Ministries (GPPM) at Santa Clara University through leadership and ministry formation programs focused on the needs of parishes, wider communities, and those most vulnerable. Responding to the needs of the communities where the GPPM has the pleasure to offer our programs, as well as the needs of broader communities, which cry out for servant leaders and compassionate outreach, the Markey Center provides programs and support for ministry and leadership to meet those needs. The Center offers opportunities for those already serving others and those beginning their interest in accompanying others. The Center is a resource seeking to build and accompany inclusive and just communities.
