Director and Professor of Military Science
Lieutenant Colonel Jason Noble enlisted in the Army as an Infantryman in 1992 and was stationed in Savannah, Georgia with the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. After completing his enlistment, Lieutenant Colonel Noble completed undergraduate and ROTC requirements at the University of Tampa and was commissioned as an Army Aviator. Lieutenant Colonel Noble deployed with 1st Squadron 4th US Cavalry, Schweinfurt, Germany to Operation Iraqi Freedom January 2004-March 2005. Lieutenant Colonel Noble Commanded D Troop 2nd Squadron, 6th US Cavalry at Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii; where he deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq from September 2009-Februrary 2010. Following this assignment Lieutenant Colonel Noble completed the Command and General Staff College and School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) at FT Leavenworth, Kansas with follow on assignment to Joint Base Lewis McCord (JBLM), WA. While at JBLM Lieutenant Colonel Noble was a G5 Plans Officer at I Corps, a Squadron S3 with 4th Squadron, 6th US Cavalry, where he deployed to the Republic of Korea for the Army’s first Regionally Aligned Forces (RAF) deployment from September 2013-June 2014, the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade S3, and finally as the Deputy G3 for the 7th Infantry Division.
Lieutenant Colonel Noble’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (2OLC), and Air Medal (numeral 3). Lieutenant Colonel Noble is a recipient of the Parachutist Badge, Egyptian Parachutist Badge, Royal Thai Army Parachutist Badge, Combat Action Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, and Ranger Tab. Major Noble holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa, a Master’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Masters of Military Arts and Science from the School of Advanced Military Studies.
