Engineering Physics Major
The Engineering Physics (EP) curriculum includes breadth and depth in both physics and engineering. Each EP student chooses his or her exact curriculum in consultation with the EP program coordinator. In addition to the University Core Curriculum, the major includes (a) foundation courses in physics, math, chemistry and areas of engineering, and (b) a cluster of five courses focused in a specific technical area chosen by the student.
Requirements for the Major
In addition to fulfilling University Core Curriculum requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics, students must complete the following departmental requirements:
Major in Engineering Physics
Advanced writing satisfied by PHYS 151 (elective for EP)
STS satisfied by combination of PHYS 103 and PHYS 192
