Romina Sevilla Miller is a Bronco alumna ( Class of 2014) excited to return to SCU as a quarterly adjunct lecturer. Her research background is in adolescent development, with an emphasis on STEM motivation and academic achievement. Her research experience uses advanced statistical methods to examine the relation between contextual factors such as family and school context, adolescents' expectations for STEM success, and academic performance. After receiving her Master's degree in Developmental Psychology, Romina applied her research to practice, spending three years teaching high school in California. As an adjunct lecturer, Romina is excited to apply her research at the collegiate level.
