Brianne Jacobs teaches courses in systematic theology, Catholic social teaching, and gender studies. Her research focuses on the body and suffering as loci for theological reflection on ecclesiology, ethics, faith, and gender and racial justice. She is the author of “What Does Catholic Social Teaching Tell Us About Sexual Harassment?” in America Magazine, “50 Years Later: U.S. Catholic Feminist Theology With and “Beyond” Mary Daly’s The Church and the Second Sex,” with Jessica Coblentz in em>Theological Studies, and “Google and the Technocratic Paradigm: Personhood, Bodies, and History" in Integral Ecology for a More Sustainable World: Dialogues with Laudato Si published by Lexington Books in 2019.
