Principles of WGST course of sequence (choose one):

    • WGST 1&2: CTW
    • WGST 11A&12A: C&I
    • WGST 50: Introduction to Women's & Gender Studies
    • WGST 51: Introduction to LGBTQ Studies
    • WGST 57/HIST 84: U.S. Women's History 
    • WGST 112/ETHN 154: Women of Color
    • WGST 114/ETHN 157: Race, Class, Gender & the College Experience
    • WGST 115/SOCI 153: Race, Class & Gender in the US
  • Four (4) required upper-division courses:
    • WGST 101: Feminist Theory (recommended sophomore or junior year)
    • WGST 102/COMM 111G: Feminist Methods (recommended sophomore or junior year)
    • WGST 105: Advanced Seminar in Women's and Gender Studies or WGST 105A: Body Politics
    • WGST 190: Capstone 
  • Three (3) course concentration in one of three areas:
    • Cultural Politics of Representation
    • Power, Rights, and Society
    • Sexualities, Body Politics, and Social Structures
  • Five (5) electives from among the offerings in WGST and cross-listed courses
