Campus Ministry

We are here to help develop and support your spirituality during college.

As you search for communities where you fit in, we strive to help you find ways to BELONG. As you begin your adult life, we want you to articulate in ever deepening ways what you BELIEVE. When you look towards your future and think about who you want to BECOME, we want to be there to support you to your next step.

Provost Dennis Jacobs and the Spirituality of Painting

You may have heard that SCU's Provost, Dr. Dennis Jacobs, is an avid painter. We were curious if he considered painting a spiritual practice and decided to sit down with him. What we learned was insightful and interesting.

    This week in Campus Ministry

As we all struggle with how to respond to hatred and intolerance in our own community, we take a moment to pause this week on two occasions. Monday at 4 we'll gather in the Multifaith Sanctuary at a vigil in response to the Casa incident. Thursday at 8 we'll gather again in the Mission Plaza at a Prayer Vigil for National Stop Police Brutality Day. These come in addition to regular offerings on less somber notes: Agape Latte, where you can hear from professors about their faith and the 2016 election; and the third Interfaith Dinner Discussion of the year in Unity Commons.

    Spirituality Spotlight

    • Julia Claire Landry

“Spirituality is the permission we give ourselves to get real -- real with ourselves, real with what's happening right now in the world and in our relationships, especially to get real with the relationship we have with the Divine.”

      • 6pm and 9pm Masses have returned, along with confessions on Sundays at 8:30pm and Mondays at 11:30am!
