Retreats

Stepping away from the patterns of daily life creates the space and time for reflection and growth in your spiritual journey.

Campus Ministry invites the university community to participate in a variety of retreat experiences throughout the year. Each retreat has a unique focus, ranging from contemplation and discernment to fellowship.

Can't find what you're looking for?
Please contact Victor Lemus (Director of Retreats) or Catherine Newcomb (Retreat Ministry Intern).

Santa Clara University's Ignatian Retreat is a five-day version of the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius. This dynamic experience features silence and a diversity of prayer practices in a residential setting. Each day will include confidential, individual meetings with a retreat director, more formal presentations made to the group, meals, daily liturgies, and group prayer. The retreat will be held at the San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville, CA Sunday, December 11th-Friday, December 16th, 2016. Sign-ups will be accepted October 16th-December 4th, 2016.

Spaces for the Ignatian Retreat are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by submitting the form below AND a $200 payment via delivery of cash or check to Campus Ministry or online. Please note that we no longer accept payment by Tapingo.

If you wish to pay online, you may do so here.

In Campus Ministry, we are committed to ensuring that everyone who desires to attend a retreat is able to do so. As a result, we greatly subsidize the cost of retreats. If you have a financial hardship that would prevent you from attending the retreat, you may submit a scholarship request  for a partial payment.

PLEASE NOTE:

This retreat is targeted for undergraduate and graduate students, however, alumni, staff and faculty are welcome to attend if space is available. If you are not currently an undergraduate or graduate student, feel free to apply and Victor will be in touch with you regarding retreat availability.

Applications can be found here. Contact Campus Ministry Retreat Intern Catherine Newcomb with any questions.
