Retreats

Stepping away from the patterns of daily life creates the space and time for reflection and growth in your spiritual journey.

Campus Ministry invites the university community to participate in a variety of retreat experiences throughout the year. Each retreat has a unique focus, ranging from contemplation and discernment to fellowship.

Begin your SCU journey by joining us for this Fall's First Year Retreat! The 2019 First Year Retreat will be held October 5-6, 2019 in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This one night/two day retreat is a great opportunity to meet others from campus (and outside your RLC) and foster a community that nourishes you at the outset of your time at Santa Clara. This retreat invites retreatants and leaders to reflect on three foundational themes:

* Belonging
* Believing
* Becoming

Student leaders partner with various Campus Ministers to give talks, lead discussions, and facilitate practices that help retreatants explore these themes in their own lives.
