  • Prepare for the Dalai Lama's visit

    Friday, Feb. 19, 2010

On Wednesday evening, February 19, Prof. David Gray will talk about "everything you need to know about the Dalai Lama before he visits Santa Clara University." 6-7 pm in the Williman Room. Cookies and Hot chocolate will be provided.

We have an interfaith dinner discussion this Thursday, February 20.  We will be hosting Berget Jelane, a local Buddhist leader, for a discussion on Buddhist practice and Buddhist perspectives on interfaith dialogue. Berget teaches meditation at San Jose Insight Meditation center.  She is also a psychotherapist, so you psychology majors might especially want to come! 6-7 PM, Campus Ministry.

There will be a screening of the Dalai Lama's lecture in Campus Ministry with bagels and juice on Monday morning, February 24. Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. in Benson Parlors B & C we're partnering with the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics to have a discussion/debrief session led by students Erin Callister and Jonathan Homrighausen. Drinks & snacks will be provided.
