I am originally from Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi and became Catholic as an undergraduate at M.I.T. I completed graduate studies at U.C.L.A. and Northwestern and worked in the nonprofit and private sectors prior to entering the Jesuits.
As a Jesuit, I have been blessed to minister in high school, hospital, jail, parish, and university settings. I studied philosophy and theology at Loyola University Chicago, where I helped found the Spanglish CLC. At Creighton University, I was the Coordinator for Asian/Pacific Islander Initiatives and taught in the business school. Most recently, I was at the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley where I completed M.Div., STL, and Th.M. degrees.
In my current role, I accompany and support students on their faith journeys, facilitate sacramental formation classes, and promote the inclusion of the diverse cultural backgrounds of the SCU community in our worship and broader campus ministry activities.
