STEP 1: Petition to Graduate
Obtain the Candidacy Petition for the Bachelor's Degree from the Enrollment Services Center. Students with a major in the College of Arts & Sciences or the School of Engineering will receive a Pre-Graduation Evaluation from the Enrollment Services Center. Students with a major in the School of Business will receive a separate evaluation form from their department. All forms need to be turned in with the Candidacy Petition for the Bachelor's Degree.
Return the completed the form(s) to the Enrollment Services Center by the deadline stated below:
|Fall 2017 (for degrees to be conferred in December 2017)||October 6, 2017|
|Winter 2018 (degree to be conferred in March 2018)||January 26, 2018|
|Spring 2018 (degree to be conferred in June 2018)||February 23, 2018|
|Summer 2018 (degree to be conferred in September 2018)||April 27, 2018|
NOTE: For students graduating in Summer or Fall of 2018, to participate in Undergaduate Commencement 2018, submit the Permission to Participate in Commencement Form. This form becomes available April 3, 2018 from the Enrollment Services Center.

STEP 2: Undergraduate Response Form
Starting April 3, 2018, complete the Undergraduate Response Form by May 25, 2018 to inform the Commencement Office that you wish to participate in the ceremony. Only graduates as declared eligible by Office of the Registrar may participate.
STEP 3 (optional): Alumni Graduation Picnic Tickets
Purchase tickets to attend the picnic. Tickets go on sale in April 9, 2018 through the Alumni Office. Tickets will sell out. Attending the picnic is not required to participate in Undergraduate Commencement.
STEP 4: Academic Attire & Ceremony Tickets
Starting June 4, 2018, graduates visit the Campus Bookstore to purchase the cap & gown and obtain all other ceremony materials.
