Mission Statement

The mission of the Controller’s Office is to safeguard the University’s financial resources and to provide effective and efficient accounting and operational support while complying with federal, state, and regulatory financial guidelines.

We support the mission of the University by ensuring accurate recording of your financial transactions, establishing effective internal controls, and providing timely financial information and analysis to departments and external parties. The Office manages the functions of Accounts Payable, general accounting, tax reporting, endowment and investment accounting, cash management, and fixed asset accounting. The office is also responsible for the oversight of the University’s annual financial audits and tax filings. The Controller’s Office staff strives to provide service in a professional and effective manner to faculty and staff of the University as well as organizations external to the University.
