Medication Services

The Cowell Center has a limited in-house supply of prepackaged medication at a lower cost because of the center’s nonprofit status. Charges for medications are generally billed to the student’s account, but cash and check are accepted. Students may request a receipt to submit a claim to their health insurance for reimbursement purposes.

Your Choice at the Cowell Center

For student convenience, medications are prescribed, students have the choice of filling an electronically submitted prescription(s) at the pharmacy of their choice, or dispensed from our limited stock of in-house prepackaged medications, including the following medications:

  • Allergy and asthma medications
  • Antibiotics
  • Anti-Inflammatory medications (NSAIDS)
  • Cough and cold medications
  • Topical rash treatments
  • Nausea/vomiting medications
  • Immunizations and travel medications
