Gabrielle Garrard (she/her/hers) is originally from Jacksonville, FL. Gabrielle attended Davidson College and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science. After Davidson, Gabrielle received her master's degree in Higher Education from Florida State University. In her role as the Assistant Director for Leadership Programs, she teaches two undergraduate courses around leadership theory, designs curriculum and implements leadership retreats and workshops, and advises the Santa Clara Community Action Program (SCCAP).

Gabrielle has been at Santa Clara since September 2018. She is passionate about empowering others through leadership education, specifically through deconstructing and reconstructing prominent leadership theory from a critical lens in order to create liberative leadership opportunities inside and outside of the classroom. She leads with her top values: empathy, faith, and a commitment to equity and justice.

In her free time, Gabrielle is an avid reader, beach-goer, runner, and a committed fan for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Braves.
